FAIRMONT — Wayne and Kathy Efaw’s home was destroyed by fire around 2 a.m. Monday.
The Efaws are known by many as the co-owners of the Bread Basket at Middletown Mall. Wayne is also the pastor at New Beginnings Worship Center.
Though the Efaws politely declined to be interviewed for this article, Lois VanGilder offered to serve as speaker to the Times West Virginian on behalf of the family. VanGilder said she is a friend of the family and a member of the congregation at New Beginnings Worship Center.
