FAIRMONT — The draft plan for Marion County’s school buildings includes consolidating six schools in the next 10 years.
Marion County Superintendent of Schools Tom Deadrick unveiled the draft plan for the county’s Comprehensive Educational Facilities Plan (CEFP) at a community forum at North Marion High School Monday.
Deadrick stressed the plan is a draft and can be changed at any time. Even after the plan is submitted to the state School Building Authority and West Virginia Department of Education, the plan can be amended by a vote of the board of education.
