FAIRMONT — One way to beat the heat ... standing under a geyser on Dogwood Drive.
This photo comes to us from Jim Brunell.
He writes "The Fairmont City Water Department responded to a water leak on Dogwood Drive this morning around 10:30 a.m., and in the process of repairing a leak, a cap broke on the main line resulting in what looks to be a geyser coming out of the ground. As you can see, it sent a spray high into the air."
We can also see that water workers are wearing yellow rain gear. At least that's one way to beat the heat on a 94-degree day.
