Instead of taking pictures of what he experiences, Don Mundell paints what he experiences.
Mundell takes his and others experiences through life and creates scenes from life’s adventures. His artwork is displayed at the Marion County Public Library in Downtown Fairmont.
Mundell likes painting in narrative style, telling a story and letting the viewer decide what the story is.
“I like leaving it open-ended,” he said. “I don’t want to show too much to give away the story, I want to leave it open for people to imagine what is happening.”
While traveling to all four corners of the U.S., Mundell has met many people and has learned about many different cultures.

Deputy Erdie of the Marion County Sheriff’s Department said the vehicle was traveling south on U.S. 250 when the driver lost control at about 1:30 p.m. -

Capias arrest warrant issued for Shaquille Lewis
A capias arrest warrant has been issued for Shaquille Lewis, the 19-year-old cousin of William Horton.
Lewis had been subpoenaed to testify at his cousin’s trial, which ended Friday in a four-count “not guilty” verdict. -
