FAIRMONT —
Election Day is a little less than a month away, and millions of Americans will be turning out to vote in a hotly contested election.
In years past, this might have translated into long lines at the polls, but Marion County residents will have the option to stay home on Nov. 6 and still do their civic duty.
Early voting in Marion County starts on Oct. 24 and will continue through Nov. 3.
According to Mary Gay Priolette, Marion County deputy clerk and elections officer, Marion County residents will have two early voting locations available to them this year.
