FAIRMONT —
The Union Mission is sharing the love of Christmas with several activities.
Central Church of the Nazarene will present the cantata “Silent Night! Holy Night!” for friends and residents of the Union Mission at 7 p.m. Friday at the mission auditorium.
This is open to the public. Admission is free and refreshments will be served after the presentation.
“This is a good way for homeless people to have a taste of normal life,” said Pastor George Batten, executive director of West Virginia Rescue Ministries.
It will also be performed at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Central Church of the Nazarene, 114 Walnut Ave. This is open to the public as well.
The mission will host the annual Fairmont Lions Club Christmas party Saturday at 7 p.m. One hundred children will be treated to toys, gifts and dinner.
