FAIRMONT —
U.S. Marshals, with the assistance of the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, arrested a Marion County fugitive Thursday morning after almost a month on the run.
Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Alex P. Neville said Christopher Robey, of Fairview, was arrested at 7 a.m. in a church parking lot near Bunner Ridge. Robey was wanted on charges of unlawful wounding issued Dec. 22, 2012.
Robey allegedly beat his former girlfriend and broke her jaw.
