FAIRMONT —
Both defendants charged in the first-degree murder of Everett Wilson in December 2011 will meet jointly some time next week with their attorneys present to “discuss their options.”
Michael Ian Palmer, charged with his wife Kristyn in the shooting death of her father, appeared in Marion County Circuit Court on Wednesday with his attorney, S. Sean Murphy of Morgantown, who presented several pretrial motions before Judge Michael Aloi.
Also present were Marion County Prosecuting Attorney Patrick Wilson and assistant prosecuting attorney Dana Shay, representing the state.
Michael Palmer is set to go to trial Jan. 28 on the charge. Kristyn Palmer’s trial will take place during the February term of circuit court.
