There shouldn’t be any stigma attached to getting help with your fiscal responsibilities.
That’s what CRISS-CROSS, Consumer Referral and Information Service System for Citizens, Resources and Organizations Seeking Solutions, wants people to know.
Talk about a mouthful.
Though it’s based in Clarksburg and operates throughout the state, its Consumer Credit Counseling program is a United Way of Marion County member agency that provides people with credit report reviews, debt management and a whole lot more.
“When you hear consumer credit, sometimes you get a negative connotation in your mind,” said Executive Director Amie Darway.
