The man charged with the March 2011 death of an Enterprise man was sentenced Wednesday by Marion Circuit Judge David R. Janes.
Daniel Joseph Sowers, 28, of Shinnston, was sentenced to 12 months for battery and one year for involuntary manslaughter in the March 2011 death of Joshua Oldaker, 24. Both charges are misdemeanors. The sentences will run consecutively.
He will be given credit for time served for 30 days and will be lodged in the North Central Regional Jail in Doddridge County.
