FAIRMONT —
The West Virginia Education Association brought educators together in Fairmont to brainstorm about the state’s Education Efficiency Audit of the public schools.
The WVEA sponsored an educator forum Tuesday evening in the library of West Fairmont Middle School to discuss the results from the “Education Efficiency Audit of West Virginia’s Primary and Secondary Education System.” Stone Strategies LLC facilitated the event, which allowed school personnel and other people involved in education to provide their input.
Jason Pizatella, director of legislative affairs for the Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin’s office, explained that almost a year ago the governor decided to implement a top-to-bottom education audit of West Virginia’s education system, which was carried out by consulting firm Public Works LLC.
