FAIRMONT — Fairmont State had its day in the spotlight Wednesday before the county’s three civic clubs.
And head basketball coach Tim Murphy made the most of the occasion to extoll on some of the positive things about his newest Fighting Falcon basketball team that opens its schedule here on Nov. 15.
It was FSU’s annual basketball luncheon before members of the Kiwanis, Rotary and Lions clubs. A solid crowd was on hand to hear him.
“Our tradition is great,” Murphy says. “You can’t tear down what so many before you have worked so hard to build up."
