FAIRMONT — Congressman Alan Mollohan is fighting to make sure that fair competition takes place in the market for oil country tubular goods.
In the petroleum industry, oil country tubular goods is a category of steel pipe and tube products. During the past three years, the United States has seen a tripling of oil country tubular goods imports from China.
Mollohan, who is part of the Executive Committee of the Congressional Steel Caucus, recently submitted testimony asking the International Trade Commission to take action against unfair Chinese steel imports.
