Middletown Tractor Sales is partnering with the local 4-H club to host its annual John Deere Drive Green Challenge on Saturday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Drive Green Challenge is one of many events to be held across the nation, but Middletown Tractor is making it a community effort by inviting the local 4-H club to host a hot dog sale during the event.
Heather Hudson, marketing coordinator at Middletown Tractor, says one of the most popular features of the Drive Green Challenge is the chance for customers to drive the equipment, kick the tires and speak with knowledgeable equipment experts.
“Middletown Tractor loves hosting the Drive Green event. It is a chance for our current and prospective customers alike to visit West Virginia’s only John Deere Place, and size up the competition lined up right beside of our John Deere equipment,” Hudson said. “We are also happy to have one of the local 4-H clubs to join us this year. We are always looking for ways to support our community, and this is just one way we can support one of our local groups.”
Everyone who attends the Drive Green event will receive an exclusive Drive Green discount and the chance to win a John Deere 1023E Compact Utility Tractor with loader and box blade, which will be given away in October. Admission is free, and no pre-registration is required to attend.
