WHITE HALL — White’s Fine Jewelry is excited to help customers create their own Pandora jewelry through its new Pandora Shop-N-Shop store.
Owner Bob White started White’s Fine Jewelry, located at 9 Middletown Road in White Hall, in 1992.
He said his wife and his friend’s wife learned about Pandora jewelry while traveling about three and a half years ago. Bob did some research, met with Pandora representatives, and found that his business fell into the guidelines to become a Pandora dealer.
“It was a really large investment — a little scary at the time,” he said. “We’re thrilled that we’re part of the Pandora family.”
Bob explained that there are different levels for Pandora dealers, who become eligible to move up to the next stage as they increase sales. After going through the white, silver and gold phases, White’s Fine Jewelry was given the opportunity in May 2009 to advance to the shop-n-shop level.
“We actually now have a store within the store that is devoted to nothing but Pandora,” he said. “Within the Pandora family, it’s quite a privilege to get to that point.”
It took until January to get everything finalized and ordered, and the business’ 300-square-foot Pandora Shop-N-Shop has now been open for about two weeks, Bob said. The section features new flooring, cabinetry and store fixtures.
“We don’t consider it our store — we consider it our customers’ store,” he said. “It’s all our great customers that’ve made this possible. We just appreciate every customer so much and the fact that they’re shopping locally with us and believe in us.”
White’s Fine Jewelry now carries the entire line of Pandora jewelry, including bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings and every bead Pandora makes. Customers can choose from more than 600 charms.
As a Pandora Shop-N-Shop store, White’s Fine Jewelry has all the new product lines and is able to get the items much quicker. The business now offers all the leather products that young people love, and people are excited about the new wooden beads that are available, Bob said.
He said his business is delighted to offer something new in Marion County that very few stores across the country have.
Customers like the uniqueness of Pandora jewelry and the fact that a bead they get can work on their bracelet or necklace, Bob said. They can start their collection with a minimal investment and mix and match the styles.
“There’s a present that’s great for almost any occasion,” he said. “It just makes it so nice to be able to buy something with so much versatility. It’s very affordable and very luxurious, and every piece is gorgeous.
“Each individual bracelet is different. It’s your own creation — it’s you.”
