The Honorable Fred L. Fox II, retired Marion County circuit judge, served with the Marine Corps in Vietnam. He was seriously wounded in a shrapnel explosion in January 1969. “The Marine Corps was probably one of the two or three things in my life that I judged myself up to snuff,” he said. Hanging on the wall in his office at home is a painting made from a photo of him in Vietnam.
