Shannon and Nathan Barkley met while he was in a YMCA exchange program at a resort in the Colorado Rockies. Now living in Fairmont, they are parents to Makayla, 11, and Kyle, 9. Every evening after dinner they spend time together, which is very important, Shannon said.
