Jim Moran, chief of the Mannington Volunteer Fire Department, stands next to one of the older trucks that operates at the station, which provides service to approximately one third of the county. Moran stated that although he does not support a countywide levy at this time, he does believe the Marion County Commission should provide more funding to county volunteer fire departments.
