Assistant State Fire Marshal Jeff Armentrout of Ansted and his accelerant-sniffing dog, Brady, check the charred interior of a Fitzgerald Avenue Extended home on Wednesday afternoon. Brady, a 6-year-old black Labrador, is visible by his blue leash and red collar. They were looking for signs that a Tuesday evening fire in which a man died was set with flammable liquids. Later, Police Chief Steve Cain said investigators do not believe the fire is the result of “any overt criminal activity.”
